Big Hockey in the Mix
Tonight at 8pm eastern, check out the World Junior Hockey Championships game between Team Canada and the USA. Will be an epic battle, as last year was one of the best games in tournament history. Also, don’t forget to watch the 2010 Winter Classic from Fenway. Wish I was going to be there unfortunately that did not work out. The Cuz Shawn Thornton will be in action for the B’s.
So I’m a huge hockey fan, moving to Minnesota I’m going to have to learn more about the Wild, but for now I’m still a Bruins fan. My cousin Shawn Thornton is in his third year with the B’s and I’m hoping this year they can bounce back from the tough playoff loss to Carolina in last years post season. Anyways, they are off to a real good start at 2-0 in the pre-season, obviously not a huge correlation to the regular season, but I’m not going to complain. Take a look at the boxscore, if you know anything about the Bruins you’ll know that Thorts doesn’t usually spend too much time on the powerplay, but there’s proof. Good for him. http://bruins.nhl.com/club/boxscore.htm?id=2009010010&navid=bos-home-dl
